Empowering Educators

Teachers, Counselors, and School Administrators have a demanding role in the Schools that can leave one feeling stressed, burned-out, and overwhelmed.  To many Educators, time off in the summer is simply a temporary relief from the intensity of the school year.  In addition, our society often under appreciates their role in educating our children leaving many Educators feeling of little or no support in and out of the classroom.   With increasing demands put on school staff due to testing, constant project deadlines, never-ending trainings, new initiatives,  benchmark testing, etc., Educators Are Simply Tired.

This mounting pressure can take a toll on mental health.   High-achieving educators often have perfectionist and/or go-getter mindsets that may be met with Anxiety when the never-ending checklist is not completed!   If you asked yourself many days how much longer you can hang on, Counseling may be a place for you to start thinking about your current situation. I help people who work in the schools feel more energized, productive, and positive in their role with providing a place of encouragement to unload your emotional burdens.

I support, encourage, and empower my fellow Educators in the following areas:

  • Mindfulness

  • Goal-Setting

  • Career Discernment - Is Education Right For Me?

  • Improving Peer Relationships

  • Building Self-Confidence

  • Letting Go of Insecurity

  • Anxiety/Depression

  • Letting Go of Perfection

  • Creating a Self-Care Routine with Burn-Out

  • Stress Management

  • Balancing Personal and Work Life

  • Beginning Years' Teaching/Counselor Support

Educators face a highly demanding role that can take its toll emotionally, mentally, and physically.  Educators need to have their emotional reserves continually fueled. Please contact me at 832-341-1870 or tricia@memorialcounselingcenter.com to set up an appointment.
